prepare for a new update


hey not dead people!

an update is coming out soon to Badly Named Zombie Game which will make it easier for me to update the game.
what this update will feature are some Quality Of Life changes like:

  • Manual Player Colours
  • Cool tween animations for stuff, making the game look a whole lot more polished
  • A teaser for a new game mode (it doesn't exist yet)
  • A way to permanently turn off the music (because its so buggy no matter what i try i cant make it turn the music back on)

however this is not the exciting part.

the exciting part is the fact that I am reworking local multiplayer!

what does this mean? it means that local multiplayer will use singleplayer code, while singleplayer code will be revamped to treat the player as "not the only player" meaning that if another player is spawned in the game will account for the new guy too.

this opens up opportunities for me to make changes in singleplayer that will cross over to multiplayer without having to copy-paste the code.

doing this will make it easier for me to make changes and hopefully fix my burnout. (i stopped updating because working with the spaghetti code is too hard)
